Please find the following information regarding application procedure of various documents:
(i) You are requested to send the scan copy of your application available in the below mentioned URL along with the required documents to os@smit.smu.edu.in
(ii) Alternatively, you can write an application to The Director, SMIT mentioning the requirement of Medium of instruction Certificate / Bonafide Certificate / Character Certificate. Please mention your Name, Registration Number, Year of Passing from SMIT, Branch, Contact number and address.
(iii) You are also requested to forward your copy of Class X mark sheet and degree certificate.
(iv) Application may be sent via offline or online mode.
(v) In case of online mode of application - kindly forward scan copy of your application to the email: os@smit.smu.edu.in with a copy to Head, Alumni Engagement Cell (email: head_aec@smit.smu.edu.in / nayan.b@smit.smu.edu.in)
(vi) In case of offline mode of application - kindly forward your application to:

Please download the required application as per the below mentioned URL and forward your application to the email: dce.tech@smit.smu.edu.in along with the required documents / fee.
(i) Please follow the instruction given in the application form and forward all details to Dy. Controller of Examination – Tech.
(ii) If you would like to apply via online, kindly fill the application form and send the scan copy of your application along with all required scan copy of documents to The Dy. Controller of Examination (Tech) via email.

(iii) Please pay the required fee as mentioned in the application form through SBI collect and also forward the transaction details to the same Email ID.
(iv) If the certificate is to be forwarded to foreign country, you have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 1200.
(v) Please make a copy to Head, Alumni Engagement Cell in your all communications. (Email: nayan.b@smit.smu.edu.in/ head_aec@smit.smu.edu.in )
(vi) Please note that CGPA to percentage conversion certificate is not issued to any individuals. But the general certificate is available in the URL mentioned above.
(vii) In case you authorize someone to collect your certificate on your behalf, you need to give a letter of authorization with a copy of your photo ID and person collecting the certificate will also produce a copy of photo ID along with the letter of authorization.
(viii) Degree certificate cannot be issued to any authorized person. It can only be issued to the candidate or his / her parent. Otherwise, it will be posted via speed post to the address given in the application form.
(ix) Degree verification email can be also sent to Deputy Ctl. of exam. (Email: dce.tech@smit.smu.edu.in)
