This is a web application develop to manage office-related activity efficiently. Here, there are basically three roles in this application. One is the admin who will add all the staff working in the office. Another user is the staff who will add the status of its work as well as fill its timesheet. The last role is that of manager who will allot tasks and view staff activity.

This Project has all the necessary functionality from adding, deleting staff detail from the system. It is developed to support all roles, whether it is admin, staff, or manager.

The whole project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e Model, View, and Controller). The business logic is done on the Model side, We have used JSP to manage the frontend, and to handle the request and response we have used a Controller i.e Servlet.

Managing an organization and its staff can sometimes be tiresome. From a CEO or Manager point of view, we want a system like ERP where we can manage all the staff. There should be a system where the flow of information is easy between different staff in an organization.

So, for this, we on Codebun have develop Office Management System Application where all this functionality is covered. Here, we have three roles in this application. One is that admin who will add all the staff of the employee. A manager is that another role that will add its timesheet, view staff timesheet, and etc. The last role in this application is that of staff who will add the status of their work.

The following are the major objective of this application:

1. To provide a bug-free application to the admin, staff, or manager.
2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Office Management System Project where the activities of staff are managed properly.
3. It maintains the record of staff, manager, works detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.

Modules and Functionalities of Office Management System

There are three main roles in this application. These are Admin, Manager, and Staff. Let us see the functionality of each.

1) Admin

• Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Staff.
• Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Manager.
• It can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Salary detail.

2) Staff

• Staff can VIEW its work details.
• Staff can ADD/UPDATE/DELETE/VIEW Leave details.
• It can fill their timesheet.

3) Manager

• The manager can assign work to the staff.
• The manager can fill their timesheet.
• It can approve/reject leaves.

NOTE: The profile section, log-in, and registration features are common to all users in the system.
