The Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) has staff available to support landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy process. To make sure you have a productive conversation, before calling the Residential Tenancy Branch:
- Write down your questions
- Have the documents relating to your tenancy issues available
- If you have an open dispute resolution file, have your 6 or 9 digit file number and your Dispute Access Code ready
Note: Your Dispute Access Code is provided to you when you submit your application or can be found in the Notice of Dispute Resolution Proceeding served to you by the other party.
